قَالَ ذَٰلِكَ مَا كُنَّا نَبْغِ ۚ فَٱرْتَدَّا عَلَىٰٓ ءَاثَارِهِمَا قَصَصًا
English - Hazrat Molavi Sher Ali ra
He said, ‘That is what we have been seeking.’ So they both returned, retracing their footsteps.
اردو ترجمہ مرزا طاہر احمد خلیفة المسیح الرابعؒ
اس نے کہا یہی تو ہم چاہتے تھے۔ پس وہ دونوں اپنے نقوشِ قدم کاکھوج لگاتے ہوئے لَوٹ گئے۔
French
Il dit : « C’est ce que nous cherchions. » Ils s’en retournèrent donc, retraçant leurs pas.

Er sprach: "Das ist's, was wir suchten." Da kehrten sie beide um und schritten zurück auf ihren Spuren.*

اردو تفسیرِ صغیر
اس نے کہا (کہ) یہی وہ (مقام) ہے جس کی ہمیں تلاش تھی۔ پھر وہ اپنے پاؤں کے نشان دیکھتے [5]ہوئے واپس لوٹے۔
یعنی ایسی پیشگوئیاں پیچھے چھوڑیں جو بعثت محمدی پر دلالت کرتی تھیں تاکہ ان کی قوم ان پیشگوئیوں سے ہوشیار ہو جائے۔

یعنی ایسی پیشگوئیاں پیچھے چھوڑیں جو بعثت محمدی پر دلالت کرتی تھیں تاکہ ان کی قوم ان پیشگوئیوں سے ہوشیار ہو جائے۔
